Just finished the Christmas event! It’s an event for all players. Bring nothing with you and find a cupboard in either Falador, Draynor or Varrock. Look on the world map for a “present” icon and go there. Enter the cupboard. You are now in the land of snow. To the north is a tent with the Snow Queen. The banquet is in the middle by the fountain. A house is to the right (east) and the tree is in the southeast corner. Talk to any imp (this might take a few tries if they are already talking to another player). You find out that Santa has been kidnapped and the feast has been ruined. You and your imp are to save Santa and the feast. You have to confront Ebenezer Scourge. Go to the house to the east and enter the gates: 1. Go in the west room and speak to Scourge (it took me a while to see him with so many players) 2. Now your imp tells you to make a ghost costume. Search the house for: A sheet (in the same room as Scourge) a bucket (grab 6 to save time) a cabbage (never used it) chains (in a barrel in a room to the north) and needle and thread in the dining room. 3. Use needle on the sheet and you will make a ghost costume. Put it on and remove any wands or weapons you may be carrying. 4. Go out of the house and back to the land of Snow to see the Snow Queen in the tent to the north. It took me a few tries to see her as there were so many players there. 5. Ask her about Scourge and she tells you they used to date and he left her for the dark magic. 6. At this point get some paper to make a drawing of the 2 tables for the feast. Table 1 to your left will have 2 guests on the left side and 1 guest on the right. So will table 2 to your right. Important for the next step for he will fire/freeze the guests in order and everyone’s order is different. Right down the order to save time. If you mess up at the feast you will see the order again. 7. Go back to Scourge’s house and climb the stairs. Cut screen where he is now mad and puts the quests for the feast in a fire. 8. Go to the Land of Snow and fill the buckets at the fountain. HERE IS THE IMPORTANT THING: THE ORDER YOU SAW THEM FIRE/FREEZE IS THE OPPOSITE ORDER YOU WILL THROW WATER ON THEM. SO THE FIRST PERSON TO GET FIRE/FREEZE WILL BE THE LAST ONE TO THROW WATER ON. If you do it wrong just watch again and fill up the buckets and try again. 9. Go back to Scourge and another cut screen where he doesn’t care and the imp will bring someone to show Scourge his wrong doings. You will have to choose the name and its Tiny Thom or Tiny Thim or something a little off of Tiny Tim. This won’t work either. 10. You will end up downstairs again and you should talk to your imp who is always behind you. He has a plan to scare Scourge so walk back upstairs. You will go through some stuff with the imp but when you have to choose an emote choose angry, then choose scare and lastly choose dramatic point. This works. 11. Go back to the feast and speak to Santa who will tell you what color present to get and then go to the tree and open your gift. You get a candy cane to twirl, the ghost outfit and a new emote.
I need more gold! I often refer to the fact that I play an obscene amount of MMOs, in fact I invest an inappropriate amount of money each month in buying MMOs and resubscribing to those I already own. So I decided to do a rundown of games I have played, started playing, stopped playing, etc, and why. Started Playing: Aion: For the fact that Aion quickly became one of the most popular subjects of interest on MMO Fallout, I felt I was practically obligated to jump into the game myself and give it a go, especially after I threw away the chance for the open beta I wasn’t willing to preorder for. For more information, see Games I Cancelled. Beta Tested: Alganon: Noted WoW clone Alganon is a decent game, for the fact. There are differences in atmosphere between Alganon and Warcraft, but other than that I feel I’ve played this game before. Alganon is currently 50% off, so I may buy it for the free month while it is on sale, keep the key unactivated until I have more time to play it, and give it a go. My only fear is that I would inevitably get bored with Alganon for the same reasons I got bored with World of Warcraft so long ago. Star Trek Online: [This note has been removed due to the Non-Disclosure Agreement] Mortal Online: It’s like watching an MMO be built from the ground up. Yes, I preordered Mortal Online, and no I have not issued a chargeback. Playing the closed beta has been something of an interesting take, for the first few days I logged in not knowing what the hell I was doing (not reading the forums does that you know), and eventually I figured out how to do things such as taming animals, fighting, and gathering resources. Still working on building a house, not being pushed around by the local chuckleheads, and murdering my friend’s pet hog. Still Playing: Champions Online: At level 21, I just recently hit a point where missions are hard to come by, although some searching around found me applicable missions in the Canadian Wilderness. It’s astounding how, for an MMO where I only have three areas (Canadians Wilderness, Millennium city, and Desert) that I have trouble finding certain areas. I am disappointed that I never finished the Halloween event, thanks to a bug that prevented me from gaining several perks. That being said, I’m not being billed until April 2010, thanks to my 6-month preorder package. Runescape: Blah blah, Runescape joke. If I’m willing to sit through the grind of Runescape, it really takes a lot for me to unsubscribe to another game because of its grind. See games I cancelled below… Resubscribed To: Darkfall: Partially in anticipation for the patch that was ultimately delayed, and for the boost in experience. I re-rolled a new character on the Alfar side, and have been enjoying myself on the North American server. Currently working on gathering quests and making myself armor and weapons. City of Heroes: I received a free four months to City of Heroes, so since I’m not getting billed on it until March 2010, I decided to give it a go. The client downloaded quickly, only 2.2 gigs, and I flew into the game. For a game as aged as City of Heroes, I have to say it is quite engaging. Compared to Champions Online, City of Heroes actually gives you an incentive to group up, not to mention the area appeared to be more populated as opposed to the one person talking on global chat that I find on Champions Online. Although some options such as bloom now exist, the game still looks like it’s running on a slightly more powerful Half Life engine, not that that’s a bad thing. City of Heroes still has it’s old charm, and for once I’m playing the game wondering why I ever unsubscribed to begin with. I did find my old character, although he was useless in giving me information as to the last time I logged in. According to NCsoft, the last time I logged in with my old character was 3,623 days ago which, according to my flawed mathematics, amounts to almost ten years ago. Unless I was actually playing City of Heroes back when I thought I was playing Everquest back in 1999, it seems hard to believe I haven’t logged on to a game since five years before it launched. Cancelled: Aion: I cancelled Aion before my free month was up, my reason being because the game was actually painful to play. I know that MMOs are essentially a giant can of grind, but Aion is Nyquil minus the sugar, with extra bitter. Aion has a better story than some other MMOs, and the presentation is very well done in the form of cutscenes and other features, and I did not give the game enough time to get me to Player Vs Player combat. The grind to that point was just too painful to play, and my rule is that I cancel when I look at the login in screen and the child inside asks “do I have to?” And no, upgrading my account to collector’s edition for free was not going to keep me. And one last thing, after diving into this game; those testimonials you hear about bots in-game, they are all true.
So today I didn’t do much but I just planted some fruit trees and started agility. I want 70 agility, but I don’t know how far I’ll actually go with that. ?
Showered with free titles since launch, European PSPgo owners can now take their pick of free MotorStorm, Gran Turismo, or Assassin’s Creed, while North American buyers still get a rock.

A British hacker is in really big trouble after stealing RuneScape players identities, skills, weapons and virtual money. Haven’t heard of it? Well, it’s a medieval fantasy game and it has over 100million players worldwide, so you should!. The 23 year old stole hundreds of distraught teenager’s identities and accounts so he could boost his own personal rankings (bastard!). Evidently it can take years to earn virtual money and skills with some RuneScape accounts selling for up to £46,000 on eBay. God knows what they are going sentence him to… virtual theft? The game is friggin free! Psst Geez, if I could only hack into Super Mario 64 and pass level 4 !
I thought this was hilarious! I made this myself and soon, I will be sought after all over the player killing worlds of runescape.
This is a RuneScape version of some popular sites you might’ve heard of. My Life is Average – Everyday oddities, things that are rather funny but not impossible. F My Life – The name explains it all! Did something funny happen that made you say “Fml…”? Well, post it here! Makes Me Think – Something special happen? A word, phrase, action that caught your eye and made you think? Post it here. Gives Me Hope – See something that makes you say, “Now that was kind of awesome, tbh. That gives me hope.”? POST IT. There is also a “Zezima Jokes” section, and an “Only in RuneScape” section. NOTE: This blog is made out of respect to RuneScape and to each of the websites above. If you have a post to make regarding an IRL FML/etc, do it at the correct site, not here. This is just a spoof. Happy Posting!
I just achieved level 40 range. What is so special about having level 40 range? I can now wear green dragonhide chaps and green dragonhide vambraces. Unfortunately, this is the BEST range armour available on runescape FREE WORLDS. It is also kind of cool too depending how I choose to look at it. It will be hard to guess my range level once I get it above 40. Now it is time to raise my magic levels to 25. I will start by doing two quests for magic experience. Imp Catcher and Witches Potion. When I am done with these two short easy quests, I should have level 9 magic and can use earth strike. Whether I like them or not, I will ALWAYS do quests for the experience I need first and then train the skill. I will most likely do all the quests at some point EXCEPT Vampire Slayer, Dragon Slayer and Restless Ghost. The reason I will NOT do those quests is because they will give me attack experience, defense experience, and prayer experience. None of which I will need being a 1 defense pure ranger. Also at the time of this post, I now have 200k in cash, and I will be switching to IRON arrows to train with.
