I love being a runescape member.  There is so much I can do now, better ways to level magic, more ways to make money, you get a lot for a lousy $5.95 a month. Anyway, upon first becoming a member, I immediately did the dorics anvils quest, and the knights sword.  This gave me a mining level of 12 and a smithing level of 29. Then I did the dwarf cannon quest, so I could smith cannon balls. Having completed the quests I wanted, I then worked on my mining and smithing skills until I had 40 mining and 30 smithing. My plan was to mine my iron ore, buy coal and nature runes from the grand exchange and super heat them into steel bars.  Then take the bars to Falador and smith them into cannon balls and sell them on the grand exchange! Right now, my magic level is 54 and my smithing level is 43.
