I really haven’t been trying but in the last 2 days I have without meaning bumped into 2 stars just doing my everyday things. The first was when I was running around on a farming run last night and when I teleported to the Champions Guild to see if my ivy bush was ready I saw a nice circle on my mini map. I arrived in time to get the size 3 down to a size tubby and a full free reward! The second I mentioned yesterday in Al Karid but that was intentional. But not long before writing this I was doing some testing with the new orb thing and a size 6 landed right in my shot! I was the only one and got a nice tag for being the first. I got some nice extra Mining exp and a nice stack of gems from the stars is also a big plus! I finished crafting my battlestaffs and was so bored I didn’t bother to alch the 500 or so I now have banked. I need to go craft ome more glass orbs as I only have about 100 left and that doesn’t ever last long. grrr With the update today I like the new music ability but I never listen to the actual music only the sounds of whatever I am doing such as alching, mining, crafting, etc etc you get the point. I also was shocked to see how nice the new SD looks compared to HD which I think isn’t that big of a deal. I think I will run SD with the nice options and save my computer some work. Another thing that came out today was a new slayer monster which I don’t find very interesting as I don’t slay but a change from the ones that slayer rotate through. Good drops if you have the level a few friends have told me its not bad exp either. I have seen a few system updates over what I think to be this little problem. Your friends list wont stay connected, it must just be a small fix but why is this taking so long? For being the game that Runescape is its quite interesting to find all the tools that can be used along side it. One of my growing habits is to check RuneScript where I can watch the top players in the game and also my friends advance exp and look to see how I stack up. Another cool feature is that you can watch your rank get flushed or gain quite a bit and also how much exp you have gained in the time since the reset each week. So, as you can see in the last 2 days I have gained 40 ranks in Farming which is about average. Farming is about all I do now so it shows. I can explain the cooking to, I find that lots of people drop the tuna fish after the fish it out! I find that these poor fishies need to have a home, I cook’em up and they make for a nice snack when I need to heal myself fairly quickly. All the magic exp is just me teleporting around to get to all the patches. I Lost about 2k in almost all the combats in only 2 days! Shocking yea? A couple more cool little features let you see a graph along with how much you’ve ever gained in a single day/week/month which is also pretty neat. My overall is not doing to well by only doing Farming… Its cool to see where I have come in a year to where I am now and hopefully to where I am headed.
